At the time of 16 Mahajanpads (After Guptas). I think Kuru + Matsya were present day Punjab + Haryana .

wasn't he finally won the case.
In Sept., 2000, Rao was convicted of conspiring to buy votes in parliament prior to a 1993 no-confidence vote; he was sentenced to three years in prison.

Caste system itself is not bad. For an agragarian soceity it was a good model in ancient time.
