Are the French really going to take 6 years (2025) to deliver 36 fighters? IMO in that case the chances of a follow up order are really slim, with the F35 taking priority. Good point Nachiket. However, a work around can be had for that problem. And the "enabling communications" is for interoperability with the American military, not for F-35 and Russian platforms in Indian service. What exactly that work around will be can only be known, once they begin form...
