Re: China Military Watch - Jan 11, 2011

Yeah, could be. But that does give an estimate of where the bomb bays would be placed. We can sort of estimate its size and how many missiles it can carry using that info too. If those are the bomb bay doors, then won't it block the air intake duct? Don't think so, maybe you can check the F22 pic t...

Re: China Military Watch

If it is a mockup, China will lose face even more when everything is settled. Nobody is that stupid just to draw some attention. That is why i believe it is true stuff.

Re: China Military Watch

As for the red star on the back, it's not a PLAAF insignia, it's a PLA insignia. This is actually consistent with rumors from highly reliable sources many weeks back, which stated that the plane has a red star with the words “八一” (August 1st) on the vertical stabilizers. Just Curious, why do they h...

Re: China Military Watch

Well, i believe this one is true , but it really looks like a Mig-25 or maybe just me. At last, china's 5th will appear in some way sooner or later. To avoid eating your own words, "wait and see" is definitely a better strategy other than refuse or approve.

Re: China Military Watch

i would expect Chinese plans for a F-22 class fighter to be fairly well advanced we shouldn't worry about how they got there, but that they will get there I have yet to see any credible proof that they have a real capability to build any real 4th generation aircraft, forget an F-22. In every measur...

I don't think it is a homemade engine, most likely one from Canada.

Re: International Military Discussion

Russia's cluster bomb technology is so powerful that it can reduce military while keeping an upper hand. Does India have cluster bombs ? I remember long back reading an article in which India has placed order for Cluster bombs with US of A and they were suppose to be delivered in couple of years......

Re: China Military Watch

Besides, the way I see it, China still has to depend on Japan for investment in spite of Nanking. The maximum the Chinese are able to do is to huff and puff, every time a Japanese PM decides to visit Beijing, for an apology that never comes. i am not sure what you are talking about, anything concer...

Re: China Military Watch

Sorry for my words. They seemed to really upset somebody. However, i think india should revenge the insult from china somehow, and then you could say that india really get over the '62. Indian should give it a try to prove yourself.

Re: China Military Watch

It is obvious that somebody doesn't want chinese to own an AC. Quite understandable... after all China has shown itself to be untrustworthy, malicious, expansionist and reckless. The Chinese carrier may possibly end up like the Chinese ballistic missile submarine, which never made a single deterren...

Re: China Military Watch

Wow....it would take normally six to ten years to master the handling of aircraft careers. To do that from scratch would probably be about ten years. Once that is accomplished, the proper training, operations doctrines and implementation structures need to be formulated to deploy career borne force...

Re: LCA news and discussion

This reminds me,do LCA pilots have some amount of fireproofing in their uniform? If fact I did some research based on this serendipitous idea. I wrapped my pet hamster in a fireporoof coating and threw it in a small petrol fire that I created for the purpose. i was happy to see the fireproof coatin...

Hmm - the best look I have had of the Thundarr yet. The quarter circle LERX are a distinctive feature as well as the kidney shaped intakes. The flying photo showing the lower surface clearly shows the MiG 21 delta lineage of the wings What do you mean Mig21 delta lineage of the wings? I think it is...

According to some PLA generals, the first chinese aircraft carrier will be finished by 2010. Two Steam catapults had been delivered to the PLA Navy by a company , called China Erzhong. Like always, PLA's done things before saying it, just like J-10. So, let's wait and see.
