Today's TOI report says army doesn't want the MKII - saw it in the print edition. Not sure if this is a fact or twisted fact. BTW, what is the latest with the MKII along with its prospects of getting into the army? Quick Googling doesn't seem to give any updates post Feb, this year.

Chacko's point yet again demonstrates the institutional difference in attitude between the two forces. Navy gets smallest share of the pie but, that doesn't stop it from funding or pushing for more funds on these in-country programs.

I am skeptical of seeing FGFA become a reality and we may end up buying PAK-FA lock-stock-and-barrel.
