The IN was already objecting as one lift of INS Vikramaditya is 8.6m wide and NLCA mk2 is 8.9m wide. Therefore no scope of adding wingtip missile.

There are only 9 hardpoints. The belly can carry 2 BVR AAM in multirack as the wheels have moved out.

They are trying to achieve Rafale like metrics
9.5T empty wt+0.8T misc+4.7T internal fuel+9.5T payload=24.5T MTOW.
The misc for Tejas mk1 is 0.8T not 1T. Even if they achieve 8T instead of 7T empty weight for mk2
it will be OK .

7T is the intended empty weight as MTOW 17.5T and payload of 6.5T for clean weight of 11T.
Minus 3.3T internal fuel and rest 700kg for 2CCM, pilot weight, cannon ammo, chaff, flare and pylons.

My wish is if the fuselage length is incresed by 1m than centre hardpoint must be able to carry 1330 litre EFT just like the innermost hardpoint on wing unlike 720 lt EFT carried on mk1. Two saddle CFT of 2000litre total capacity to free up wing hardpoints.
