I agree with N^3 patenting IS a disaster. Sign as many deals as possible and build reactors-even if necessary for TSP.Let us make some money! But then have we paid attention to provide for the manpower and expertise needed? I am not sure if our engineering colleges are churning out or atleast plan t...

Rather than limiting to India all Thorium based reactors must be for exports. And should I dare say with gusto? Let us make money. Saudi Arabia wants nuke power and we would be better to give them thorium power.

I think this line of thinking that IAEA ensures safety is dangerous. IAEA must be considered a hindrance to any and all Indian efforts-a stooge of P-5 and nothing more and should be dealt with as such. JMT

If we cannot protect the tech developed by us under sanctions regime it is a real mockery of our scientific effort. And no govt or person responsible for such state of affirs be forgiven. Has this govt made any attempts to protect our R&D? I seriously doubt that. Also India must be proactive and...

whatever be the case atleast 50% of the power must develop from Indian reactors designed, built and operated. This retains local talent and expertise, enables further growth and R&D-which is what we all want. How can we fund this is the question.

Could that SOA F solahs be against Iranians? If we look at the chinese angle and the 'coming' war with Iran and the 'partnership' with India-It may be that SOA F solahs could be a prep for use in Iranian confrontation?

Folks-like old mahabharat MIRVs can be met by MIKV (Multi interceptor kill vehicle)!? :lol:This will be an anti MIRV interceptor. The single interceptor shall be HTK if the missile has one warhead but then it has several kill vehicle if the missile separates to independent warheads. Wonder why not? ...

My guess is all nuke capable missile from TSP should/will be considered nuclear. A counter attack will be launched destroying TSP while the ABM takes care of the remnants. ABM is not 100% (atleast as of now) But what we will strive/aim is to get them close to that. One could consider a JDAM response...

This could be a spin off from Talbott-Jaswant talks? ABM against TSP and China may limit the Indian arsenal to K. Subramaniam advocated numbers than the Bharat karnad numbers-thereby still consistent with DND and CMD? Pure speculation on my part-but could be true.

The run-up to Kargil was not an intelligence failure but an assessment failure. The main reason is that there were no effective systematic assessment mechanisms in India. Every person in authority does his own assessment. I concluded this in the first BRM article and later in the KRC review article...
