By this time the fate of Mirpur had been sealed - it was torched by the raiders the same day. About 400 soldiers and 10,000 refugees managed to escape, and reached Jhangar. The Pathans killed several hundred soldiers and civilians, capturing hundreds of women who were taken away as war booty. Many ...

IAF SOP is to change frequencies within 24 hrs of a pilot being captured. Abhi tried to hold them off for as long as he could on this

The next logical step in the escalation path would be to target the PAF base from where the F16s were launched.

Re: Indian Forces Strikes Pakistan Terrorist Camps

Why MIGs were left for CAPs at this critical juncture is beyond my understanding. They should have moved 29s during Kargil time from Adampur to Srinagar for LRPs.

I hope this this does not come to an end without IAF using the heavy guns.

Was there an update on the MI17 crash?

If they have arrested a downed pilot they will parade him on TV before long. I think they are blowing smoke. Putting out unsubstantiated reports in SM, contrast this with the studied silence on Indian side.
