What Republican Party? There is only trump party now. Only trump loyalists can survive primaries. And they are more likely to lose in general. Only voter suppression has saved senate seats or else even that would have been at risk.

Trump concentrated on senates and made a lot of races close in deep red states that he won comfortable in 2016, resulting in huge unpredictable wins in a friendly map.

folks were predicting a pardon for manafort, but he has instead flipped. full cooperation. and pled guilty to those counts which hung because of one trumpkin juror who held out.
