Why would a company do such a blatant act as diverting subsidy money without customer knowledge or consent. they should be fined more and made to pay compensation to the customer as well.

pankajs - I am not sure that there is no verification done while linking. Mine went through fine, but my wife's had a problem because name not matching on both ends (initials changed from her dad to mine). So definitely some lookup is being done.

Need the small electric bikes. Saw them plenty in China. They use for short distances scooting around and to go to access points for mass transport.

Credit is a serious problem. Businessmen in rural areas are still getting informal financing at 18% normal and 24% as well. Then they all rely on chit funds to rotate cash. This is again growing the unaccounted cash quantum.

How the hell can we even compare fiscal policy of US with any country. Dollar can be printed without inflation like what other currencies have to suffer - because it is backed by oil. What US does and gets away with cannot be used a basis for what other countries can do.

Link aadhaar to DL, vehicle registration and insurance.

Penalties can be escalated to license cancel, then registration cancel and that affects insurance. People will fall in line and learn to pay fine.
