Re: Internal Security Watch

I think we need to stop this dhoti shivering about Bdesh not accepting or allowing this illegals to return. Even the Americans bribe Mexico to deport aliens - 1000 dollars per person. If the price is right it is saleable.

That is why govt needs to move fast to block as many people as possible from moving. Discussion with Bdesh should be initiated. Pay them money for each illegal family deported or give business concessions.

NRC Assam update. 19 million declared legal residents. About 13 million being verified. Reports claim that 6-7 million will be declared illegal. IB reports that illegals are already moving to other parts of India specially WB. They will try to disappear in the ghettos. GOI needs to swiftly finish ve...

Re: Rural Reality At the Start of 2018

To add to what Rahul said when the govt says "village electrified" it just means it is connected to the grid. In rural WB it was common to see electrical poles without wires. It just means electricity can be delivered to the village now. When the govt says power surplus it means it is able...

First NRC Assam draft to be released Dec 31, 2017. This will be only a partial list. Rest will come later. Next step should be to delete names of illegals from voter list. I hope GOI has a clear idea about what to do with those declared illegal. https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/guwahati/with...

A complete lock-down of Pak airspace is required. For that you need saturation coverage of BMD and S400. Plus saturation supersonic/hypersonic nuke delivery within seconds. The only thing left will be a sub-based capability.

Pak does not have conventional asymmetric advantage. It had/has sub-conventional asymmetric advantage through jihad as India was playing nice. For Pak to achieve FSD it will need more Chinese help. If FSD is achieved we should move to FU and supersonic/hypersonic.

I expect the Communist parties and the socialist Nepal Congress to fail economically just like in other countries including India. Extreme poverty leads to these ideologies seem attractive. Nepal needs a nationalist alternative to the Nepal Congress to break the cycle of Communists coming to power alternatively. Nepal is the poorest country in south Asia and its politics now is similar to that of 70s India.

Not sure what you are trying to say by bringing in Korea. FDI in india was as severely restricted as domestic private enterprise. It is like choking a man with both hands. It is incredible that India didn't become another NK.

It is low base effect. Going from 1 MW to 10 MW is 10 fold growth but is much easier than going from 10K to 100K. As for lack of investments it was mainly due to severe restrictions on private enterprise. Nehru hated capital and profit. Govt investment is by tax or loan. In a poor country there is v...
