that big drum like thing on top of Vikramaditya is the Naval TACAN unit - tactical air navigation unit which assists the carrier based planes to find their way back while landing. Austin, that is Klub Land attack version, if you watch that video again in stop motion -just before impact you can see the wings, brahmos/onix doesn't have any.

its definitely Arihant, its not Kilo and not HDW. Forward position of the sail, diving planes on the sail, the aluminium colored covering upfront etc. are giveaways.

That is no official russian plan, just a fan boy drawing. There is an ongoing discussion about that in the mil pic form. The idea was lifted from a similar Su 27 evolution chart.

that's work at night on the IAC at Cochin Shipyard. The angled deck for landing is integrated. Can see it clearly from the top of the hotel there, though fotography from there is a big no. this one is taken from the parking lot there.

hows the rocket positioned on the launchpad? there are stabilizing attachments, but is the whole rocket sitting on the rocket engine nozzles ( i dont think so ), if not, then hows it done?
