When should we begin to worry about Pakistan? Perhaps when the women take over (which with Pakistan's Islami nazara will never happen). I'm listening to 5 Pakistani economists, 3 men and 2 women. The men - IMF this and IMF that. The women - we had a liquidity problem, IMF lent us money. How are we ...

That can be solved. First half gets unloaded/loaded, train moves forward and the second half gets unloaded/loaded. Adds some extra time to the stop. That would have an effect on the next train since it will have to wait for the track to be cleared. Our system is loaded to the gills with trains, and...

2500+ were UR specials. Is it possible for railways to do this every year? Many of these specials are operated in the "slots" reserved for Goods Trains. So if these specials are made permenant/regular scheduled trains, the goods traffic will take a hit. At times these "specials"...

Chahbahar port, energy and other trade are important to India, and would be much easier if the US were to lift sanct...

Do the Saudis get pulled into an Afghan-Pakistan war - defense treaty and all? Interesting question. If Pak wants help, it implies they can't handle some Afghan militants on their own. If Saudi can't help against Afg, they certainly won't against India. Remember, we're just kafir for them. So, it's...
