SaiK it is not mission specific, you have to switch modes. So when doing A2G for that 1 minute or so A2A will be turned off. So you are vulnerable for that duration to aerial threats.

Other countries will use every tactic to undermine our indegenious efforts, media, vulnerable Babus, officers, Politicians, finance, Corp orates and unfortunately having imported arms for soo long there is probably a huge import mafia in this count...

OT-As I said there is not 1 Pakistani supplier of parts to PAF Kamra, that should tell what the JF-17 is? Block II JF-17 was supposed to have aerial refuelling and Block III AESA radar.

Boss JF 17 all parts including wings come from China. It is the latest version of F-7 of which China has made thousands. HAL used to manufacturer Mig 21's at a higher rate in the 1980's.PAF is doing it cause other than the F16 and F-7PG the rest of fleet of Mirages and F-7s are barely flight worthy....

I think 42 months lead time is acceptable, China also has lead time. Chinese orders are much larger so they can build, also don't the Chinese use CODAG instead of CODOG.

Going through data, imported coal is down, but OIl in terms of Quantity has gone up from 153000 tonnes in 2011-12 to 215000 Tonnes in 2016-17. I guess the number of Vehicles has also increased on the road.

Going through Export data, our 2011-12 we exported an abnormal level of High speed Diesel in 2011-12 of 155,736 tonnes of HSD , before and after this year we exported only in the 40000 tonne to 50000 tonne range, what was exceptional that year.

Sad to hear the news, regarding the Shakti engine, wasnt there some clause that if order X number, the French were supposed to give TOT to HAL and set up a production base in India. I wonder what happened to that?

I think now the Shakti engines are assembled in India.

This is BS, get 36 more Rafale, ask the french to set up a Jet engine production in India and scrap the Single engine fighter. Use this domestic engine for LCA, LCA Navy, AMCA.

I dont think 2000 is the ultimate goal, it more like a minimum no, our border with China+Pakis is nearly 7000km. We need as much artillery as we can get. So if achive 2000 we will keep on inducting more.

While discussing Indian economy, Home loan interest rates today are between 8.3% to 9.5%, and auto loans in the 9-14%. I remember in 2010-14 I had paid 12.5 Interest rates.
