Good article. Every word is solid, including DF and his tryst with "secularism". Shani Shingnapur and Mahalaxmi temple incidents should have also got the mention. Because both places in 2014 BJP candidate won, in 2019 BJP candidates lost.

Re: 2019 Strategic and Political Analysis-1
BJP was equally greedy in the first place. Why did it go for a pre poll alliance with an unstable ally like Shiv Sena? Uddhav has been signalling for a long time. Even a 2.5 years rotational chair would have worked in BJP's favour. I guess sometimes arrogance of power leads to downfall. Every party...

If Fadnavis and Shah really tried to pull this off with just Ajit Pawar's backing I have no words. It was monumentally stupid. Fadnavis for one should know very well not to get involved in a SP vs AP slugfest. There was always going to be only one winner and that is not AP. I was hoping that this w...

I will not be so sure about the talks of 1 year/6 month terms. We underestimate the adhesiveness of money. IMHO if SP was not onboard then this move was unnecessary. This will burn bridges with SP and ncp.
I also think AS played his ajit pawar card too soon. He should have let these parties form a government and then pull it down with help from AP.
