Re: 2019 Strategic and Political Analysis-1

What do you all think about the idea Su Swamy is floating off late about this idea of Govt taking over the land and hand it over to VHP to build the temple now and pay fair compensation later when the court comes up with the verdict on land ownership (Article 300A). Seems like a reasonable idea inst...

Re: Indian Economy News & Discussion - Nov 27 2017

A large national economy like India cannot be driven by govt policies alone there has to be a bustling trend of private entrepreneurship and innovation. For that, we need a major overall in education. Too much content is pushed in schools and I think kids simply don't have time to think on their own...

Re: Kerala, Andhra and Tamil Nadu - news and strategy thread

As I mentioned before, from the political grapevine in TN, the vote for DMK is actually anger against ADMK govt than BJP. Aligning with ADMK was a big mistake. Su Swamy was right. Even if there is a loss BJP should have stood separately. If some of the Central schemes worked people would have voted....

In TN the damage is already done in the 60s. Another one of the mishandlings of Congress govt. No point in trying to correct it now. Modi 1.0 govt GDP growth is purely based on Govt spending and FDI. Domestic private investment is completely messed up due to huge NPA issues, high-interest rates, and bad tax regimes. Hindi is still one of 22 scheduled languages, it still did not get the status of a national language in the constitution. It is an unnecessary debate that the politicians in the south want to divide north from the south and also derail the agenda of the new central govt.
