so the firing a/c has to be pointing in the general direction of the enemy a/c ( target) for the 2 way DL to work ? if the firing a/c turns away then the missile is like in single DL mode??

A 10 Warthog has 1100 rounds.. Hawker Hunter had 150 rounds per gun ( 4 guns) ( firing at 1200 round pm) .

u can say china could not have intervened only in hindsight..planners of the day made plans for that as well..thankfully. Military planners are more realistic/circumspect that u seem to be..planning/preparing for all contigencies.

Arun... the mistake IG did was not to close kashmir issue during negotiations. india did not have the capacity to crush pakis on our western front. please be realistic. there was near parity/ no overwhelming superiority of forces on our western borders..anyway thats history. AF's cant win u wars..it...

i understand its a genuine pooch .... but we should be exporting like crazy... let their be a export version ( if possible for guns) but for electronics, radars, missiles etc its possible to have export versions which are downgraded versions. export export shuold be the mantra !!

I think u didnt interpret the escalation bit properly... i think what was intended is that IF pakistan did something stupid in response to our strike then we are ready for all.out war like bomb a military target and cause casualties
