@AdityaG its controlled by an operator. so if the target doesn't materialize .... say a wanted criminal ..... then the human controller must guide the harop to a rendezvous point where it is either picked up or harmlessly destroyed. u know what i guessed all of that :D So half of it maybe &%^*(@!

Gagan my guess would be that Harop is not a true UCAV and has more in common with loitering munition technology . It may not have a classy or intimidating name, but I’m sure that robots speak of the HAROP loitering munition with great respect – or perhaps fear - when they… get together for, um, poke...

True, but there are 6 planes in the competition. Three of them won't be using meteor(F16, F18 and Mig35). So we will be disadvantaged when making a final decision.srai wrote:IAF's MRCA will only begin to be inducted at the earliest 2012-14 time frame. So Meteors integration in 2015 is not a big deal IMO.

Under the 1-2-3 agreement India would get fuel for power generation. This would in turn allow the economy to grow faster. Hence resulting in more growth, better economy, more earnings etc..... In return India would allow inspections/international safe guards on 14 of the 22 reactors. A great bargain...

For those of you already hooked onto CVT technology ...... there is an often publicized information that aint correct. We all know CVT's use a belt. In Honda's the CVT belt is made from rubber.
