Was in T3 last week and the carpet did not pose any issue at all. I would have preferred the blue color as in Changi. But lo and behold, Changi T1 is sporting the same brown carpet now :) Only issue I noticed was there are plenty of bumps and big scratches on the pillars which might have been caused...

This car has been derived from "Mitsubishi i" that has been in production since 2006 or so (Tata Nano has an uncanny resemblance to "i". On the other hand, "i" looks like 5-door version of Smart).

The IPS chips are designed to operate at a distance of just a few centimetres from the reader
Most of the countries are switching over to biometric passports (yes, they have rfids) simply to comply with US visa waiver.

Suppiah,

Rates for different outlets in Changi are on par with outlets elsewhere in the city. So although you would not be found sipping a $1 Starbucks latte, you would not be paying 250INR for a Snapple either.
