Here is what will happen if we "liberate" let's say Lhasa. With PLA been driven out of Lhasa, it will become open season for the Chinese. All they have to do is keep firing their BM & CM from Chengdu fundamentally ravaging the entire city. Along with Tibetans, we will loosing troops, ...

I give up. There is no benefit to fighting alone and maintaining no. Alignment. When you fight someone you want to bring your friends and their friends to jump someone. This is how WWII was won. It would be foolish to think these quad+ countries would send men and materiel to fight China alongside us, given the current threat levels to countries other than us. Now since the Chinese have nothing worth while in airpower or army mass in Tibet, their build up will be openly seen. In our case, our airbases are usually occupied. Not in the case of PLAAF. All I have to say is this: China is allying with several neighbors to push us. What is wrong in using quad alliances to push them back.

Why are we self imposing restrictions that we have to do it alone? We should have the alliances in place to jump them with numerical and qualitative superiority.

Nothing beyond recapturing Aksai Chin, GB. Tibet should be left to Dalai Lama and his followers to start an armed insurgency. Why strategically limit your self. Too much Tom Clancy-ish thinking going around here. BRF is better than this. Crossing the Himalayas vs 2000km of desert. I would think the desert would require air support on China’s side too. Cheen has NO chance to win now. Not with India holding a 10-1 troops advantage. Those weapon systems, if they come, won't improve odds for India. The odds are already overwhelmingly in our favor. So the dragon hasn’t attacked. A case of reptile dysfunction, no doubt. That’s a flawed logic. They have already attacked by taking Fingers 4-8.
