as a matter of fact the ceramic blocks themselves perform best when they are perpendicular to the projectile. to arrange ceramic blocks perpendicular to incoming projectile direction in triangular prismatic cavities would require oodles of space. They will receive this ship on aug20, 2010. By that time I guess we should start having the project-28 ones, new built ASW corvettes. Just out of curiosity, why do we compare Pak ASW capabilty with our ASW capabilty? Shouldnt we be comparing the counter system? With respect to this we should be eva...

Moreover, MARCOS are probably not stationed on all IN ships on the high seas (not that many to go around). I thought atleast a 10 member team is present in a destroyer + ships. If not, personnel who rotate out of MARCOs after the max period of service perhaps are distributed around to form VBSS tea...

My question is, are VBSS teams even in IN always composed solely of MARCOS coz I remember pics on B-R for the Malabar exercises where some of the members of the VBSS teams (the ones doing the boarding) seemed to be regular fleet sailors (perhaps with some Naval Infantry training?). Well, depends on...
