Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections

How does that tie with the overall objective of Congress-Mukt Bharat? How will Amma view and react to BJP's moves in this direction? Will it lead to splitting of Anti-Congress votes? Even if BJP wins a seat or two without a tie-up with Amma and in fact contesting against it, will it lead to politica...

Congress fears 2014 and 4 'M's: Modi, Media, Minorities and Manmohan Congress leaders across India are virtually in mourning after the humiliating defeat in four states, with many admitting the rout has rattled the party ahead of the 2014 Lok Sabha election. They forgot two more 'M's: Munna and Mot...

I am not sure why everyone is saying that AAP hurt Congress more than BJP. In my opinion (only an opinion), if not for AAP, BJP would have got a significant majority given the huge public anger against it. Imagine who Delhi-ites would have voted for if AAP had not been in the fray? BJP, enabling it ...

Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections

IMO, BJP would form the next govt. in Delhi. Most exit polls give it a near majority. Even if it falls short by a seat or two, there are "others" to fill in and a few AAP MLAs can always be brought to this side. But, in the very unlikely event that BJP falls short of majority by a huge mar...

The two sets of bars at the bottom show interesting trends: INC's seats are decreasing and BJP's seats are increasing with time. Unless things change drastically in favor of INC in the next few months, this trend will likely continue, giving a clear lead to BJP and decimate INC. IMO.
