WebForum Gurus,

It would help if comments and suggestions ignored by Shankarvosy were moved to a separate thread as was done with Dileepan's Spy Story-2.

Gagan, It is not only crude and offensive, which is what it would be if one mocked a person for his tendency to limp or squint, but worse. It is offensive and ignores the fact that we here on BR or Indophiles and the institution we discuss - the Indian uniformed forces - explicitly reject this attit...

Because we live, fight and win as Indians while recognising that it is OK if we all don't think alike.

That's a nice posed photograph to impress. That's not what they would look like in combat, because, no one tags along a PRO while in a firefight.

The Glock is a favourite of police departments across US and Canada. The US Coast Guard IIANM have chosen the Beretta. Excepting the Russians almost everyone else uses foreign made small arms if that is what they think is the best. At present the US forces in Iraq and Afghanistan are once again - fo...

Re: Indian Naval Discussion

Following a carrier is a hard job. To sneak up behind one, an SSK will need to move slow (engines make too much noise at full), know an approximate position of the carrier, its course, approximate speed and then the nav dude on board will have to plot an approximate course to somehow maneuver thems...

Why are they calling Bhuvan a Google Killer? Google does not create the maps, it licenses them from geodesic survey companies. Bhuvan is ISRO's own. It's a big difference. Maybe we shd boot out Google Maps from India for sucking up to the ChiComs.
