Russia defaulted once and learnt the lesson hard way. Once you borrow a lot of money, especially from outsiders who are actually not your well wisher, and do not own the hard currency, it knows that that will be a leverage against it.

The fact the there is a revolving door between the private bankers and regulators in the western banking world tells us how corrupt the whole system is. Not even a single banker is punished for their action that precipitated such a massive crisis. You trust it at your own peril.

Biased posts only shows where the poster's personal interests lie. Only problem I see with ShyamD's posts is that he claimed sometime back that he posts to benefit India's national interest, whereas it serves only as a public opinion maker for his personal interests.
