Elections are a distinct disadvantage when confronting stable adversaries like ISI, Pakdef and china. We are the the odd ones out. Atleast Some freedom from oversight is needed by the armed forces, so basic sustaining activities (keeping the lights on type) are not disrupted.

Hypothetically If a Kashmiri wanted to buy property in Kashmir on a mortgage, can he go to an Indian bank?
Does article 370 prevent a bank with non Kashmiri assets from doing business in Kashmir.

What about a lease, I doubt leases can be covered by article 370

The LCA depends on certain engines. Since India is not fully self-sufficient It has to keep all parties engaged Europe, US and Russia and buy from all so none gets absolute leverage. This automatically means keeping Unkil actively engaged as well.
