how much testing for LCH is left to arrive at IOC config? they will need to freeze the IOC config and order long lead items in bulk and prepare the supply and manufacturing chain. I would expect a period of 18 -24 months from order confirmed and money paid to the first few SP LCH being handed over....

I completely agree, at least SP10 should have been out last month. I hope, LCAs are rolled out at regular intervals than only during last month of the FY i.e. every March. I hope HAL will wake up to save its reputation.

Can you explain what you wrote? Can you make any sense of what you wrote? There are 324 orders - more than Su-30 or Jaguar or any aircraft since MiG-21. I thought it is a simple one-liner filled with sarcasm. Sir, there are only 20+20 planes are on order. LoI for 83 MK1a and commitment for 201 MK2....

So 11 LCA and 3 sorties per day for 3 days = 11×3×3 = 99 sorties for LCA only Sir its only SP1-8, SP9 is yet to be accepted by the squadron(or that is what was the last we heard) No sir for me, Im just chotta abdul only. Im aware of 9 SP Tejas but above quoted number is coming from some open source...

I hope someone in MoD has ordered another 83 F404-GE-IN20 engine as I could only find reference of 41 engines out of which 25 are flying and I assume other 16 are already on the floor or final assembly line :eek:

Russian engine could be other choice but I guess is not preferred.

Getting engine from Europe is another choice but will take years.

My guess: Their long range tube artillery (around 200 km) can target Kishanganj as well as Purnea from Doklam. Their medium range tube artillery (around 70-100 km) can target Darjeeling and Siliguri from Doklam. These could be advance deployment to inflict heavy damage with cheap cost and low risk. ...
