Based on articles I have read about the 65/71 wars I think IAF liaison officers are posted at corps and division level, probably not below. Does someone know for sure ?[/QB]
Forward Air Controllers are/or have been posted at the Brigade level as well.

I'm not sure if Flights exist any more. It seems like its Squadrons-->Wing-->Command. That is, I'm not sure of the existence of Groups either. Take a typical base with 2-3 squadrons. This consititutes a Wing. The AOC runs the base, and all CO's liase with him for Command level liason. But there is a...

Jagan, there used to be a Vampire at the The Air Force School in Subroto Park in Delhi. Dunno if it is still there. The Junior school used to have another aircraft, not sure if it was a Mystere or not. So, thats two more.<BR><p>[This message has been edited by Jagan (edited 24-07-2000).]

As far as PR is concerned no arguments. The IAF often shoots itself in the foot by not publicizing what it does adequately. It doesn't do so to its own people, and certainly not to the rest of the world. We don't have an official history of the IAF yet, and war diaries of all the Ops are carefully h...
