Re: The US and China in Pakistan - their respective roles

What don't you understand about the concept of an "ally"? Pakistan is US's ally. Wrt china, pakistan is it's strategic ally; china and pak have a relationship that US can never get from pakistan. There is no concept of "ally" in geopolitics. The word is a gentleman's term for **...

Re: The US and China in Pakistan - their respective roles

Case-2: I am crazy and I want to hit the kaffirs (A) Hit Mumbai. Result: Invite automatic massive nuclear strike. Pakistan becomes largest source of radioactive glass in the solar system. (B) Hit New York or even an Aircraft Carrier Battle Group in PG Result: Invite automatic massive nuclear strike...

Re: Terrorist Islamic Republic of Pakistan (TSP): 15 Jan 201

But shouldn't we be like America? America is doing exactly that and being blackmailed, but it is Indians who are spineless? We need to show spine. Instead we hope Israelis, Americans or Russians will do our job. +1 I do not know why no one in our country has geopolitical sense, everything the babus...

Re: Terrorist Islamic Republic of Pakistan (TSP): 15 Jan 201

Shiv, You've got some good ideas there. But another thing that I've come to realise over the years is the lack of learning in our policy circles. For instance, how does the country that is 435 times smaller than the US and 1/39th the population have a strong hold on the US foreign policy? The countr...

http://www.ndtv.com/video/player/ndtv-special-ndtv-24x7/what-does-the-rafale-deal-mean-for-the-indian-air-force/222680?hp After watching this, I seem to have lost almost all respect for a certain F35 peddler. The argument that we should get the F35 even though it might be delayed by 5-7 years seems...
