I'm not sure about the efficacy of the Apaches (let alone the price :roll: ). Weren't the Apaches the ones that were grounded in Kosovo 'cause they couldn't handle the rough terrain?

Unlike the roads, linking rivers is an order of magnitude more difficult (IMHO). But, ABV has put Suresh Prabhu incharge. Isn't he the one who did a tremendous job setting up the national power grid? (And promptly got yanked by BT for not doing enough for SS (read: filling their coffers))... :roll:

One of the articles mentioned that Gen Thimayya went to Rezang La to collect the bodies of the fallen heroes, and had a movie camera with him. It would be <B>awesome</B> if someone in MoD can dig up the footage.
