Re: Indian Air Forces Strikes Pakistan along with Ground Assault

Erh, a Derby is close to $1M a round. I hope the drone is one of their larger hunter killer UAVs from Cheen. It must have been a mid sized drone, what has survived is small pieces, must be easily USD 5 million each if not more. Derby is expensive not sure its 1 million a pop. Initial purchases are ...

Re: Indian Air Forces Strikes Pakistan along with Ground Assault

Per BBC. Reportedly heavy Pakistani military presence in the area.

Pakistan's military has cordoned off the area and not even the local police are allowed in, so it will be some time before details of the attack become known.

Re: Indian Air Forces Strikes PoK along with Ground Assault

I saw this tweet from Paki, just a few weeks ago... (They claimed to made a kill)

It crash landed; these are cheap drones and designed to be expendable, hence they made of plastic a single bullet will rip it apart and this shows no damage.

Again even a F-16 or J-10 is considered a lightweight fighter. This “medium” designation on one F414 feels a very hard design box we’ve put ourselves into. I have hard time seeing a medium fighter with a lighter engine than the F-16 unless we want something grossly underpowered. What is your classi...

Subs are cheaper to build and their impact is disproportionate.

Unf due to increasing cost of on board equipment like CMS and reliance on imports SSKs are very expensive. I believe Scorpene's came to around $700 mill each ( as much as Shivalik and P-15a) and P-75i is well over bill.
