This JV looks like licence production of Yakhont family of cruise missiles which is "Indianized" ,anyway the air launched version of Brahmos is 3M51 Alfa (P-900) ALCM or its Kh-61 yakhont ( Russian designations confusing) or both are same ?? were those ever test fired ??

Well ravip, LASER defense is still in its infancy to be deployed in numbers . US army uses Avengers and its variants in numbers.
As regard India , we have layered defense against airborne threats , whether those are obsolete and needs replacement and in quantity is another story.

RAF have three stages for flying Jets ,
1. Elementary Flying Training (EFT) using Tutor( Piston Driven)
2. Basic Fast Jet Training (BFJT) using Tucanos (Turboprop )
3. Advanced and weapons training using Hawks ( Jet )
