Re: Internal Security Watch

Why do the "victims" of these self-soosai incidents always seem to be RoP? not always. Anyway - all political parties, if they have any wish to have clout in Bengal have to have very good muscle-power and fire-power at their beck and call. Lots and lots of small time goons are known as ha...

West Bengal is truly lost. Few days go by without some ugly news. They are making bombs like crackers. http://www.dnaindia.com/india/report-west-bengal-3-dead-2-injured-in-crude-bomb-blast-in-murshidabad-district-2186752 This is very common in Bengal. Re: Indian Tourism: News & Discussion

How about Himachal? Shimla is avoidable but fagu, narkanda will be nice(and good chance of snow view). That is a good pointer. And a chance to see snow clad mountains makings it even more exciting. Will check on the weather and off course the travel cost aspects. Have a few contacts in Kejriwal's t...

Rajasthan is a good suggestion. R The fort of Kumbalgarh (beautiful and birthplace of Rana Pratap), and surrounding areas with dry forests - so good chance of wildlife spotting. Our workplace will have the option to donate to the prime ministers relief fund(like for every other major disaster). So I will be donating there anyway.
I will look into Sewa and IDRF. Thanks.

Re: Delhi Case Follow-up thread

Actually, the ranaghat nun rape is a very good opportunity for Modi to recoup some lost ground. Mamata did a blunder by mentioning Ghar-wapasi. She tried to be too clever and instead people were very angry that she tried to play politics. BJP has very little influence in Bengal rural areas. I hope T...

Gakakkad ji, if inspite of the data the mainstream media is still able to raise a furore about the issue then it is a failure of communication from govt. The church attack issue should have been investigated and shown as a red herring right at the time when the furore started - around 2 months back....
