Re: The Levant crisis.(Israel,SYRIA,Lebanon, etc) - II

Sensible from Putin, IMHO.
No need to get that outright victory for either Shias or Sunnis. Now that Shias have the upper hand, let them fight again.
Keep the Muslim region in turmoil. Let them blow each other up rather than blowing up others.
Suits everyone.

Re: The Levant crisis.(Israel,SYRIA,Lebanon, etc) - II

The real war was fought in the east. Americans and British were side business. No one wanted to be sent to the eastern front.
Of course the germans wanted to surrender to the western blokes rather than their real `enemies`. Why would they want to go to Siberia anyway?!

These Nivedita Menon types are products of a system. The seeds of this were sown with the hiring of marxist profs in the 60s/70s. Over the course of time, they have morphed into an even more poisonous vermin. They are now competing with the more communal leaders like Akhilesh Yadav, Laloo Yadav, May...

Continued pressure there should lead to results. The Cobras are doing a good job in Telangana and Andhra anyway.
