This one is a nice article and explains the various colours in Iraq`s northwest and how ISIS actually grew to become what it has now. ISIS is acting smart IMHO. It does not fight when the enemy is prepared for a battle.
It takes initiative and strikes at a weak unprepared spot/city. Good strategy.
