I don’t think MiG-29K with only one engine functional make a carrier landing safely. It won’t have sufficient power to take-off if hook up with assertor wires fail. No margin for error.

One of the keys of munitions inventory is active domestic production lines. A continued rate production plus a reserve capacity to scale up when necessary.

Yes, what the PAF F-16s did with their AMRAAMs was unsustainable but yet that’s what they did to keep the Su-30MKIs on the defensive.

The funds are supposed to come from the budget allocated to the IAF. Who “releases” them seems to be a complicated question. Is it the IAF, or, MoD, or MoF, or ....? How many approval signatures are required :((

Too bad for the IN about the MiG-29K issues. They are going to have to live with it for the foreseeable future. No funds to replace them outright. Most of the airframes are less than 8-years old.
