Every winter Pakis pull off a spectacular. Parliament attack, 2611, pathankot etc.

Every winter we are left angry due to inaction.

3 battle casualties admitted by Pak ISPR are probably the ones with missing heads - which explains the unusual alacrity with which they admitted it. Rest of the troop unfortunately doesnt get public recognition for their sacrifice. Well at least they kept their heads!

From an acquisition timelines perspective, the Ka-226 vs LUH scenario is similar to the Pilatus vs HTT-40 situation. Albeit the latter was only on drawing boards at the time. It looks like we will end up buying both and lets hope thats for the best.

Simple questions only; - The whole auto folding requirement was for medium helps and ALH failed that category for more than 1 reason (b/w 2 stools etc). Is that even a requirement for NUH? - All new IN ships (except talwars) can accept a medium helo so what's reason for the "light" quality?

Stoppage of support to infiltration is too broad an aim that could be secured with just a ceasefire. You would need a broader agreement which I don't see coming.

PA can hope to restore the 2003 - 2012 status if it stops cover fire and simply adheres to CFA.
