What is the useful load out of a bison? BRF gives the max external stores as 4409 lbs. So the LCA would enhance IAF's strike ability significantly.

Several years ago I had suggested a "think tank" like role for BRF to act like a conscience of corrupt India as far as defense acquisitions go. That role is even more vital today with corruption crossing all limits.

The disruption of the MiG-21 supply chain with the collapse of the Soviet Union led to the loss of several young and budding pilots in whom billions had been invested. So sarkar sahib - what is proven and tested: Mig-21s that killed about 200 pilots in peacetime or Su 30s that sit around as Hangar Queens? The LCA has not had a crash in over a decade. Does IAF have no faith its own test pilots and their comments?
