Re: Indian Missiles and Munitions Discussion

Atleast from what I've seen in the US and in comments sections on CNN and Huffingtonpost, Americans are supporting India and at the worst neutral.

Re: Indian Missiles and Munitions Discussion

A lot of you are asking for video to see how RV's come back to earth. Well, this isn't Indian but it has excellent real footage of America reentry vehicle entry (Minuteman III). I imagine that is how India's Agni did it. I am so proud to be an Indian American. Anyways, enjoy the video. It's wild! Im...

Shiv and others, I'm a scientist and practicing intellectual property attorney in the US. Thanks for all the anti-attorney jokes guys. I've heard them all so keep up the good work. That being said, there are plenty of Indians in legal practice, both in academia and as legal practitioners. It is true...

There is better TOT by the French than the US. If so, do you have specific evidence in this instance? Transfer of nuclear s...

Refueling probe.

In one of the photos above, it appears that the Rafale is lacking its fixed refueling probe. I'm referring to the camo photo. Is this a different version? Modifiable? Any answers?

Re: Raffy wins - Go Katrina!

Personally I find the Rafale to be a beautiful plane with one exception. The always out refueling probe. Perhaps future editions can do something about that. To me, it ruins its clean lines. I can handle the canards but the probe being out (all the time) just looks bizzare. And as for the American d...

Re: Raffy wins - Go Katrina!

So the P8I is a defensive weapon now? I see. The paranoia in this thread has become limitless. :rotfl: And I suppose the LCA which flies with American engines and will be an offensive weapon will have a secret kill switch that causes it to drop out of the sky during wars. Alrighty then.

Re: Raffy wins - Go Katrina!

While I understand the euphoria about the Rafale selection, I also am bemused at the ugliness that emanates from users on here regarding Britain and the United States. Funny because Jaguars, which arguably are our low altitude strike air craft are British and the bulk of the IAF transport and specia...

Re: Documentary on Headley, PBS on Tue Nov 22

The documentary made me furious. It made me realize (again) how people were butchered and how those culpable in that butchering have not experienced that searing pain. If there is such a thing as revenge and retribution then Pakistanis deserve it. In spades. I also wonder how many more American jiha...

Hitesh, He's done the same thing in other threads also, the nuclear one comes to mind. I just ignore that cognitive dissonance. The basic thesis of this thread is five fold: 1) The C-17 is overrated. 2) It cannot possibly do the job advertised (although there is ample evidence to rebut this hypothes...

As-h-phuck always looks constipated. It's because every military person in the Puki hierarchy has a all meat diet. Can't become a "martial" race with fiber in your diet. Of course, eating all those goats makes you eventually devolve into a goat, which is what we see happening. No insults t...

Osama looked pretty ratty in the ole' home videos. Disheveled, monkey cap wearing, not pretty. However, extremely vain with the dyed beard for the Jihadi videos. All Pakistanis I've met are scum bags. This is especially true of white collar professionals in the US. They pretend to be secular and accommodating to the Indian view point, when Indians are around. Re: Breaking News - Osama Bin Laden - killed In Islamabad, P

Sum, I don't think CNN per se is the mouth piece of the administration. I do think CNN has the most footprint in the Middle East (for a US company), so they have to make the news more palatable to the middle east. That is my guess. Also, CNN reports, the crashed chopper was American and was self-des...

Obama also asked Pukes to continue the party line and help the US in the war on terror. That is more of an implicit threat to the Pukes rather than the usual "you've suffered the same fate and you've helped us." It's a delicate balance and Obama is finessing it.
