Re: A Project Solution to India's No.1 National Security Threat

The open threat to the students (science subjects) that if they don't take tuitions then they'll be unfairly dealt with in practicals is worse than bribery. It is downright extortion. That's my experience in KV's, rest of the state/central schools are worse. I was in a private school(with public in...

Re: Indian IT Industry

Hmmm....so the average aam NRI, after R2I-ing is going to be unemployable? Can't code because too old, can't manage people because never had the experience of managing. Thats exactly the feeling I got when I started search for R2I 4 years back. Key is to look only for product companies and as alway...

These crowd scenes will reduce only if we stop this stupid habit of having 10 people to see of 1 guy or gal. Gone are the days when this was an occassion everybody decked up, took pictures, garlands yada yada. Maybe airports at a distance will help I am not sure if the solution is to ask people not...

What about the luggage ? Passenger with 1 hand luggage, 2 check-in will find it difficult. :( :( :( These are specially designed for airport commuters, just like the airport shuttles in masa that take you to car rentals. From outside it looks like there would be enough space for luggage within cabin.

Only time I have seen Fire Force in action was when a coconut tree in neighbors plot caught fire while they were burning dried leaves underneath for fertilizer. We called fire force and they reached in < 10mins. Tree was saved. This all happened in Trichur in mid 80s.

Agree with Singha's assessment. R2I will keep sustaining/pushing "premium" property prices. My relatives were looking for 2BHK in Marthahalli, people are asking 40+ for 1200sq. ft. Towards 50 if its a well known builder. Yes, the big builder in ORR just converted few apartment towers into ...

Yes, its not access controlled from sides. There are toll booths which enforce long distance vehicles payup but folks from in between villages use the highway as well(mostly driving on fast lane of wrong side)
