@Khalsa....

The person u're pointing is Maj.Gen Gandharv Nagra,GOC 101 CZ who also became GOC of 43rd Mountain Brigade after Gurbux Singh was injured,practically Gen Nagra and Gen Sagath Singh were the field commanders in the entire eastern sector.

Great find! I remember the GHN-45 from Voest Alpine was touted the best choice,surprisingly it's further development was the G-5 in collaboration with Denel which was selected for the IA,moreover the same platform was purchased by China and was license built as Type-88 and the PLZ-45.

seems M16 is used as CQB sniper, M16 advantage over presently used M4 by US forces is the barrel length and very accurate even over 400 mts. M16 barrel length is 20 inches and M4 is 14 inches. Karun Krishna"Jumbo"Majumdar happens to be my relative,his exploits are known to everyone,I have some pics which I guard as treasure.I feel proud as a Bengali and an Indian whenever his name comes up,there are some WWII heroes from RAF who remembers him and with much humility.

Thanks.
