The IN navy present plan seem to be 5 carrier including INS Vikramaditya, INS Vikrant and 3nos INS Vishal class carriers.

INS Vishal should enter service in 2025-30 timeframe if conventionally powered.

By FY2022 if production is boosted to 16/year starting FY17 then 2+6+16*6=104 LCAmk1 will need to be produced.

More pragmatic weight estimates for LCA mk2 will be 7 T empty weight and MTOW at 16 T with rest weight data remaining the same or MTOW remaining at 15 T with reduced external payload of 4 T.

Maz , you had a question on number of Dornier in service and on order. I had jotted down from a news report IAF=28+16+14( new order)=58 IN= 20+12(new order being delivered)=32 CG=24 Total=58+32+24=114 nos. For CG wiki puts at 38 aircraft.
