Re: Armoured Vehicles: News & Discussion

With the latest purchase of 464 T-90 MS tanks, the total number of T-90 tanks will go beyond 2,000 (2,104 to be precise). If my memory serves me right, we had about the same number of T-72 in service with the army. To this, you can add few hundred T-55 which are likely to be in service with Corps of...

People need to see Operation Balakot beyond the bombing of targets in POK and Pakistan. From bits and pieces of information available online, it is my considered opinion that GOI is using multiple means to increase the cost to Pakistan of creating terror in Indian. Now, the COST has two aspects - (1...

Basis every account that I've read, IAF wanted Jaguar as DPSA. It was offered to IAF during initial stages of its development and procurement but IAF was not interested then. It was working on Marut. It took delivery of Jaguars a good decade after it was first offered to IAF. Also, IAF was aware of ...

This cross-fire theory is BS of the highest standard. In a cross-fire, the main body of the bus would've been hit. Remember, the seats in a bus are placed at a height - you need to fire at an elevated angle to hit the windows. In a cross-fire, when the two parties are firing each other, the gun is p...

India needs to HOLD to present position - physically on ground and diplomatically. By simply holding its ground, inside Bhutan, India sends very strong signals: 1.
