It's not ice-locked in mid-November yet. Last Nov it was around 5-7 cm, you don't need an icebreaker.

They are finishing the flight tests in September and then heading back to Severodvinsk for final coat of paint. Handover ceremony is scheduled for 14-15 November.

Night flights have been conducted on Vikramaditya since 23 August. So far only minor damage to two MiGs reported.
Weapon configuration 2 X-35 + 2 R-73 + centreline tank has been tested.

The boat was in the last hours of preparation before sailing on mission, a lot of cargo being loaded, weapons as well, it is a safe bet that the hatches between compartments were open.

There is a neglected source of an explosion and fire on a sub - air regeneration banks B-64. Most of them are stockpiled in engine room, but quite a few are also kept in torpedo room and officer's mess.

25 days (till end of July) in White Sea for sea trials including max speed runs and testing of aviation equipment.
From August till 15 October in Barents Sea - airwing trials, involving 16 MiGs and few helicopters.

Fregat not Positiv provides mid course guidance, it already does that for Shtil-1. They both can, the point is that Positiv has much better resolution, therefore is preferable to update a missile with ARH. Austin, it's 24 Shtil and 8 Brahmos on first and 36 Shtil or Redut plus 8 Brahmos on the second. Redut doesn't need Orekh illuminators which are prominent on both models, which muddles it up.
