Re: Shiva Bhoomi, Manasa Sarovar & Tibet Mukti Sangharsh

Why should Indians spill their blood for a cause that the oppressed aren't even interested in. :rotfl: Amazing how you use the number of Tibetans employed by the PLA as an indication of how happy Tibetans are with the Chinese, a country where all speech and information is regulated. Perhaps not, bu...

Re: Pakistani Economic Stress Watch

Also, a failing Pakistan means a Pakistan locked in eternal misery to make ends meet. If it actually fails, it won't feel the frustration of trying and failing like it has been for the past decade.

Peregrine ji: You have been tracking Bakisatan's demise. Based on falling exports or other data, do you have an estimate as to when Bakisatan goes belly up. Guddu Ji : Patience my Dear Sir. Good Things come to those who wait! Cheers http://www.skyscrapercity.com/images/smilies/beer.gif No matter ho...

Re: Shiva Bhoomi, Manasa Sarovar & Tibet Mukti Sangharsh

We are talking about Tibetan liberation but do Tibetans want freedom ? Where is Tibetan liberation army ? Where is the insurgency ? Xinjiang has much more unrest than Tibet. A few immolations by monks does not an insurgency make. Unless people at the grassroots want freedom, as was the case in Bangl...

Re: Managing Chinese Threat (09-08-2014)

Also, I suspect we wouldn't have done anything in 71 too if Pakis weren't killing Bangladeshis like dodos, millions of Bangladeshis weren't running to india and Bangladeshis themselves weren't willing to fight their own war. Everytime the question of political will comes up, Indian leaders fail. Neh...

Re: Managing Chinese Threat (09-08-2014)

India didn't crush Pakistan not because of the strong mustachioed Punjabi army men in the PA, but because of American backing. India did in fact launch a war on Pakistan, and created a new nation. That is just apologetic excuses. We were just as much American darlings till 1965. In 1998, again Paki...

Re: Managing Chinese Threat (09-08-2014)

To all those hoping for a war with China, it won't happen. We didn't crush the festering wound Pakistan for 70 years. We allowed them to get away with outright attacking us 4 times. What makes you think that we will not only annex land from a far stronger adversary but also actually start a war. Whe...

Pakistan China's new colony? Leaked papers reveal Beijing's stake in economy, key projects This may be good news for us. Pakistan is not going to be docile like Tibet, with encouragement it may be Lizard's Vietnam. A slow boiling pot will consume a lot of lizard resources and the US may even play a...

Re: Managing Chinese Threat (09-08-2014)

I have a question. Often it is stated that India controls China's jugular vein through Malacca Straits. My question is that in case of war, if we block Malacca, what is stopping China from just going around Indonesia(closer to Australia) Sure the route will cost a little extra but I guess such costs...

Re: Artillery Discussion Thread

I am not here to fault the individual but there is something missing in these discussions. Since the news came, I was hoping for one post to say something like this " Shite!, a 155mm 45 cal arty shell exploded near at least 10 men. Hope they are ok." The experience of an arty shell explod...

Re: Managing Chinese Threat (09-08-2014)

Is this a Chinese conspiracy to keep India from indigenously producing weapons ? No fraud by the owner of the Bearing supplier company Sidh Supplies. He won the tender by low bid and got the Chinese to make thema nd stamp them with markings. The GCF officials bought off the bearings even when they ...
