The aircraft is still under development and Northrop Grumman, its manufacturer, should achieve initial operational capability in 2011.
And only then the deliveries will begin.

Hope the Indigenous programme comes round by that time.

gopal Any comment on my post? There is some thing called proof readers. The thing is while defence journos err, you would hardly find any corrigendum or erratum being published the day later. My grouse against them is not that they err but they dont even correct it. FI has a good short feedback loop...

I dont think something like that can exist. The number of gene modules a mycobacterium uses for drug resistance cannot be propagated in a virus. It is simply impossible.
