Re: MiG-21 Bison shoots down F-16 in Kashmir

I have always said on this forum people tend to ascribe too much power and motive to babus when it comes to decisions being made on the ground when it comes to fighting a war . While everyone has different opinion there is one thing I agree with what Tsarkar says I.e. there is a lot of overhead even...

These days everything is digital explode a big enough EMP and right from fuel pumps to radar controls and commn equipment everything will get fried ; along with that take out the local power grid and ATC and most of the infra is rendered useless.

Hey people can have an opinion and most importantly a perspective ; let's see it this way AM Nohwar has seen both phases i.e. when he was flying initially , TSP did not have the AIM 120 and then in late 2000s they got new AIM 120 C5s , we haven't inducted any BVR AAM after R-77 (Mica being medium ra...

Don't know about range thingy I don't think such data is ever shared out in open except for cases where we know of existing AIM 120 intercepts and at what altitude and range were they carried out . MKIs did not fire as they were not in position to engage it is as simple as that. A...

Abhi was cleared to engage, he didnt violate the ROE. He just pressed home his attack *despite* being warned of the risk. The pattern is consistent with everything Russian i.e. when B2 came Tu-160 blackjack had to do everything better fly faster, bigger payload , longer range . Same with when F-15s arrived on the scene the Russians introduced the Flanker . This could largely due to the fact that they have a vast landma...
