Ajai Shukla claims they are around since 2005 and have even 2 HM commanders as kills in encounters Ajai Shukla is right and wrong. They have been since 2005 for protection of capital assets. Their Involvement in COIN is more recent. Secondly - Garuds are not "Training" with army soldiers....
