Pretty much the entire west sees immigration as an instrument of growth. The USA is the foremost. USA's net immigration is 1 million per year. The only difference is everybody wants to go to the USA and not so much to these other countries, so USA doesn't have to do things other countries do.

Apparently, USA is in recession or low growth while still having record low unemployment. One of the reasons given is that a lot of people retired after the pandemic.
