once CEMILAC certified, it should be more of a formality to get it certified elsewhere, and HAL shouldn't be repeating the process all over again. Obviously that statement isn't true else they would have done it, what gives?

The mid section looks like is from the rail mobile wagon, and the wheel bogies have been replaced with hydraulic systems for road, maybe can be used for transferring between rail and road without cranes.

It was surreal to watch the two boosters land back, the second burn in a close up video shows firing of one engine followed by few other, not all at once.

Last year someone in an Aero India presentation was saying the couple of GE-414 engines meant for Mk2 had problems and they were contacting GE to resolve it, this seems to have delayed the Mk2 program? Similar to the Cobham delay of Mk1.
