weapons on Lakshya is a pleasant surprise, Helina or SANT are possible choices, SAAW is heavy for such a small drone. Given the drone's endurance is less than an hour, a fighter flying further inland could provide the targeting information.

Its just software, they can load ANN based control systems that are initially run in shadow mode. Problem is its like voodoo science as far as flight certification for manned systems goes. once CEMILAC certified, it should be more of a formality to get it certified elsewhere, and HAL shouldn't be repeating the process all over again. Obviously that statement isn't true else they would have done it, what gives?

The mid section looks like is from the rail mobile wagon, and the wheel bogies have been replaced with hydraulic systems for road, maybe can be used for transferring between rail and road without cranes.

Those wheels are using soft tread, even if we stick to COTS a hard tread is preferred.

It was surreal to watch the two boosters land back, the second burn in a close up video shows firing of one engine followed by few other, not all at once.

btw, it took 5 years and more than 30 tests to have repeat successes. India only got the Prithvi to expend in such a manner.

Last year someone in an Aero India presentation was saying the couple of GE-414 engines meant for Mk2 had problems and they were contacting GE to resolve it, this seems to have delayed the Mk2 program? Similar to the Cobham delay of Mk1.
