Re: India's Border Security with China and Pakistan-2020
Every crisis is an opportunity and so is this one. We may finally see a lot of action on other fronts, thanks to this Chinese misadventure. Perhaps the GoI does not believe that the cost of all out war will be justified in the form of strategic and tactical goals that can be achieved. Maybe this wil...

In the event of hostilities, the Tejas will face off with the f-16 based in Bholari. Hope the astra and derby ER are integrated soon to give it all the teeth out needs to be the new falcon slayer.

Re: India's Border Security with China and Pakistan-2020
At this point, the GOI has clearly formed some kind of consensus regarding not taking open kinetic action. The enemy is prepared and we would be behind the curve, though I don't believe that we have no intentions on them. The right place at the right time is most critical in this situation. While th...

Even our President chooses to say 'neighbouring country' rather than directly call out China. All this while China helps our enemies left, right and center.
The systemic fear within our establishment will take years of strong governance to reduce.

We have given up. We are only hoping we don’t lose further territory That is an oversimplification of the situation. I'm very sure that under the current dispensation we will have a plan in place. Loved that interview with the Air Marshal. His faith in the Mk. 2 is a confidence booster for sure and also interesting to note that the standard against which the benchmark will be set is that the Mk. 2 should outperform the Mirage 2k and be capable of replacing in due time. It's too late to mount a military attack now when the enemy is well entrenched with clear roads reinforcement in depth areas. We will have to pick another time and place but we must do that. 20 soldiers did not lay down their lives for nothing. Economic decoupling and punishment must continue as well.

I'm glad that rafale arrival is getting such mass media coverage. If nothing, it'll give some great PR to the air force and encourage the youth to serve the nation even more. It would be insane not to dump the MRCA-II and buy more Rafales at this point. All these gold plated expensive munitions like AASM and SCALP can only be utilized on the Rafale. It would be downright criminal to buy another new fighter and have to buy separate PGM's for that. As it is our ability to...
