Vivek You are doing a very good job. Sadhanshu - stay out of it. Again Vivek, back to your reply. Here is what normally should have happened. When Delhi became target of Chinese bombers, within minutes the PM, the President, the Cabinet, important officials, immediately go to the underground command...

When Chinese decided to attack Delhi, specific order came from the Chinese Prime Minister. That was not a land attack. It was an air attack. In India the armed forces command and control rests with the Prime Minister, cabinet with written order issued by the President. The latter is commander in chi...

Shankar Would you like to begin your long awaited Indo - US Conflict scenario of 2020. It will be fun. There is a need of this scenario as not much is known about nuclear war preparations. You being a high intellectual can visualize this possibility. Good Luck and begin as soon as possible. My sugge...

Additional military minds like CalvinH are needed to make these battle scenarios a bit more sensible. Above, CalvinH raises good points. Till now, all scenarios have been win - win types in which India suffers some damage but inflicts a huge damage. Future battles will unlikely be that type. Again, ...

Now the Vivek scenario is reaching far beyond any imagination. Till now everything was fine. But to assume that rail link to Twang in the future; highly unlikely in next 50 years. Terrain rises and falls 19,000 feet and 7000 feet. Railways do not do that kind of slope today or in the distant future....

Guys Can you hold off on your stuff for a few days. Let Vivek, finish what he has started. It is likely to be a short missible war with horrific losses on both sides and ends in a draw with India having a slightly upper hand. All of you can fill in the blanks on any other possible scenario as soon a...

ksmahesh Thank you. It is difficult to read the outcome of a major air battle in a little sentence, which you quoted. In fact it is a major IAF victory and a major Chinese defeat. It is to be stated like that. That is where the author should have elaborated. If I were Vievek, writing the next post, ...

These scenarios too good to be true. No bomber squadron ever takes off without a fighter escort ahead of it. In this case it is behind it. Very unlikely. Chinese will first target the ECM 707, before sending the bombers. All missiles hitting the target, that means that the Chinese pilots are dodos. ...

Hello guys Vivek_Ahuja is dealing with a new angle i.e. China scenario. He is doing a good job. I like it. Shankar deals with Pakistan scenarios. He has in last two years enthralled the readers. vivek_ahuja Can I give you advice my friend. Never reply back the critics after you made your post. There is no need to explain your thought process. Hello Shankar A reader few days back posted a suggestion that it is better for you to switch from scenarios in the immediate future to scenarios in about 10 years time. He backed up his suggestion that by that time, re-arming of India with e.g. LCA, MIG - 35/F-18/Eurofighter, Smerch, tracked artille...
