Turkey was always islamist under the hood. The vast majority of rural turks are AKP supporters and islamists. There army is pro paki and India always treats them as enemies. India even vetoed the Barak-II sale for the mofos.

Too big for DE engines. Arihant at 110-12 m is much bigger than the Soryus at 84m. It makes sens e to go for 5 SSBN, 10 SSN and 20 SSK's with the ability to fire Nirbhays and Brahmos-M in future. For that number of SSK's its betetr to stick with Scorpene an P-75I. Of course those numbers are just a ...

Why should EU allow turkey to join? Other than cheap manpower they really contribute nothing. This can be easily made up by eastern european nations. The more turkey pushes towards its islamic roots the faster it will be pushed out of NATO and out of europe.

P-8I's are costly. Maybe 16 max ia what we can afford. Like the AEWC now we need a MRMP based on C-295 or equivalent that is made in India with Indian private players. One can dream but hopefully 16 P-8I's backed by 24 C-295 based MRMP's and 36 Do-228's would be awesome.

I agree in short term a small space station or Indian space shuttle, medium term IMB (Indian moon base) and in long term IMaB (Indian mars base) is required. But ISRO alone cannot do it and Indian public and private sector better be ready when the time comes.

The only way this makes sense is if we are also getting an Akula-II. Otherwise Talwars are obsolete and at the end of their design life. More P-17a would have been smarter move.
